Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the sale of new & used, large & small Ag products, commercial and residential mowing and CCE products. Sales leads will be generated by inbound phone calls, internet leads and walk in traffic. Sales responsibilities will also include the development and maintenance of relationships with the customers they are working with.

Key personal qualities include confidence, competitiveness, driven to succeed, strong communication skills, and be a team player. Critical decision-making skills are also necessary for this position and a desire to constantly learn and improve to strive towards excellence. A strong work ethic, moral standards with a high level of professionalism, and pride in the quality of work performed will lead to success for this individual.

Job Responsibilities
-Represent the dealership in the sale of new & used, large & small Ag products, commercial and residential mowing and CCE products.
-Be responsible for inbound phone calls, internet leads, walk in leads and maintain customer accounts in the above segments.
-Excellent ability to communicate via phone or email is required.
-Know and follow a defined sales process.
-Maintain product knowledge on the above listed products, reports on competitive marketing and product activities.
-Develop and maintain knowledge on competitive products.
-Ability to convert product knowledge to features and benefits to the customer and develop a knowledge of the used equipment market.
-Maintain and report all customer activities and trends to sales management.
-Understand various financing options available on equipment.
-Organize product demonstrations and clinics for customers, participate in local trade shows and dealership promotional events.
-Maintain dealership equipment as assigned.
-Exhibit outstanding communication skills and cooperate with other departments and locations within the dealership.
-Promote teamwork, maintain a positive attitude and support the concept of one face to our customers.
-Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.

-Knowledge of John Deere or competitive equipment as well as technology and agronomic trends/advancements.
-Knowledge of business, financial, and management practices in the related industries.
